Testimony Time
Hey, Beauties and Kings! First, I would like to thank you for taking the time out to support my brand. It honestly means so much to me. I have had the privilege of meeting so many people along my journey, and it's always so exciting to hear your story. I always get so many questions when people first meet me, sometimes a bit overwhelming. Still, I realize that my story and life experiences are not for me but for others to see that God's impossible is always possible. With that being said, let's dive into how I got here. My name is Aaliyah btw; if you haven't gathered that by now, lol.
GET TO KNOW ME
I am from Louisiana but grew up mostly in Dallas, Texas. I went to Spelman College in 2013 after graduating from Desoto High School. At Spelman, I majored in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering, and boy was it tough! Lol. In the year 2017, I had a meeting with the Computer Science Department Head of Advisor. In the meeting, she told me that I would not be successful and consider choosing another career or dropping out altogether. Now, this, of course, hurt a lot, given that I had already been in college for 4 years. Oddly, it what motivational. I thought to myself, "She Doesn't Know Who I Am!" lol. Now, other circumstances landed me right back in Dallas, but that experience is what motivated this beautiful brand.
WHERE I AM NOW
I started researching skin and whipping up different ingredients in the kitchen to try and heal other skin concerns I had. I, too, struggled with acne, low self-esteem, and oppression for some time. This is definitely the short version of this story, so I guess you will have to stay tuned for the book! Upon researching skin and trying different things on others, I have discovered a formula that I know works! It is clean and straightforward.
